This is a portfolio site. We collect very little, we keep it for a short time, and we use it only to reply to you or send the newsletter you asked for.

Who we are
This website, nexusystem.io, is run by NEXUSYSTEM LTD, whose registered office is at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal information described here.

What we collect, and why
Contact form
What: Your name, email address, organisation if you give one, topic, message, the page you sent it from, and your IP address to help us filter spam.
Why: To read and reply to your message. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked us to get in touch.
Newsletter
What: Your email address.
Why: To send occasional news about new ventures, labs and papers. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
What we do not do
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We do not build profiles, sell or share your information for marketing, or use it to train AI models.
How long we keep it
Contact messages
Deleted 12 months after we receive them, or sooner if you ask.
Newsletter addresses
Kept until you unsubscribe. If we stop the newsletter, we delete the list.
Unsubscribing
Reply to any newsletter email, or write to hello@nexusystem.io. We remove you within 30 days.
Where it is stored
Messages and subscriber addresses are stored in a database on our web hosting provider's servers, and notification copies arrive in our email inboxes. Only NEXUSYSTEM can access them.
Other services this site uses
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers and Google receives your IP address.
Films on venture pages come from YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play, and the player uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
Cookies and browser storage
The site sets no cookies of its own. When you dismiss the privacy note, your browser remembers that on your device so the note does not appear again. That record never leaves your browser.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Write to hello@nexusystem.io and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change how we use personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
